These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of all games, applications, and services published by Dysfunctional Games (“we”, “our”, “us”). By downloading, installing, or using any of our games, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms apply to all current and future titles released under Dysfunctional Games, including but not limited to Crossword Chaos. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our games or services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use our services. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. Some features, such as Unity Player Accounts, may require additional age verification depending on your region’s laws.

2. Accounts and Unity Player Accounts

Some games may require or optionally support Unity Player Accounts, a secure identity system provided by Unity Technologies. By creating or using one within our games, you agree to Unity’s own Terms and Privacy Policy, authorize limited account access for gameplay and cloud save features, and agree not to share your credentials or allow unauthorized access.

3. In-App Purchases

Some games may offer optional in-app purchases (“IAP”). All purchases are processed through platform providers such as Google Play, Apple App Store, Steam, or other storefronts. We do not store your payment information, and purchases are final unless required by platform policy or applicable law.

4. Advertisements

Our games may display advertisements through Unity Ads or other third-party ad networks. Ad content is provided by third parties and may be personalized based on device identifiers or usage patterns. You may opt out of personalized ads through your device settings or platform privacy controls.

5. Cloud Save and Data Sync

Some games support cloud save features using Unity Cloud Save or similar services. That functionality may require a Unity Player Account, internet connectivity, and permission to store gameplay data on Unity’s servers. We are not responsible for data loss caused by service outages, account issues, or device failures.

6. User Conduct

• Cheat, exploit, or modify game files
• Interfere with servers or network operations
• Harass other players
• Use our games for unlawful purposes

Violation of these rules may result in account restrictions or bans.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in our games, including graphics, gameplay, text, audio, and code, is owned by Dysfunctional Games or licensed partners. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of our games.

8. Disclaimer of Warranty

Our games are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free gameplay, or compatibility with all devices.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dysfunctional Games is not liable for loss of data, device damage, service interruptions, in-app purchase issues caused by platform providers, or third-party advertisements or content.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our games after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
